黄肉楠属（学名：Actinodaphne Nees），花序总苞片覆瓦状排列，早落，叶片通常簇生或近轮生。Kostermans根据本属 花序总苞早落的特点，认为和樟属Cinnamomum及Ocotea属相似并和檫木属Sassa- fras的亲缘甚近，因此，将本属和其他三属列入樟亚族。但本属在外形和木材解剖上 均近似木姜子属Litsea，从系统的木材解剖学来看，本属和木姜子属的一些种在木材解 剖特征上相比，相似之处要较与樟属为多，因此将此属放在木姜子族中似更为适宜。

形态特征

黄肉楠属植物

常绿乔木或灌木。叶片通常簇生或近轮生，少数为互生或近对生，羽状脉，少数为离基三出脉。花单性，雌雄异株，伞形花序单生或簇生，或由伞形花序组成圆锥状或总状；苞片覆瓦状排列，早落；花被筒短，花被片6，排成2轮，每轮3枚，近相等，脱落，少宿存。雄花：能育雄蕊通常9，排成3轮，每轮3枚，花药4室，均内向瓣裂，花丝丝状，第一、二轮无腺体，第三轮的基部有2个具柄或无柄的腺体；退化雌蕊细小或无。雌花：退化雄蕊通常为9，排成3轮，每轮3枚，棍棒状，第一、二轮无腺体，第三轮基部有2个腺体；子房卵球形或近球形，花柱丝状，柱头盾状，略具圆裂片。果为浆果状核果，着生于或浅或深的杯状或盘状果托（花被筒）内。

分布生境

黄肉楠属

约有100种，分布于亚洲热带、亚热带地区。中国有19种，产西南、南部至东部。云南有7种。

用途功能

该属木材结构细，纹理直，无气味，径面稍有光泽，略硬重，坚实，材质较优良，一些乔木种类可供工业用材。

产云南南部的思茅黄肉楠 A. henryi Gamble，材质优良，为建筑、家具及工业用材，产广东、广西南部的毛黄肉楠 A. pilosa （Lour.） Merr.，木材具胶质，刨成薄片泡水后得透明粘液，可供粘布、粘鱼网，作造纸胶和作发胶用，树皮与叶供药用，有祛风、消肿、散瘀、解毒、止咳之效。
